I have to admit that even I am overwhelmed with all of the variety of makeup and skin care that exists today. Decision fatigue is REAL and especially in today's day, where we have so much more going on in our lives and less time for it. Meet some of my ALL STAR beauty products. These are some of my "hall-of-fame" products that have been out there kicking ass for awhile already and won't be departing from my makeup bags anytime soon.  Let me help you sift through the millions of options and information out there, so you can keep your decision making energy for other important parts of your life.  Below are 4 of my #beautyheros that travel with me on every single job I work on.

This moister rich foundation is absolutely stunning on normal to dry skin types. It goes on like a moisturizer, creamy and easy to blend into the skin. The pigment is rich and I love the color range (I would love to see a deeper range in it though for African American complexions). It's what I use on many of my clients for red carpet because it reads like fresh skin, not like makeup on their faces.  Its one of my TOP 3 favorite foundations and thats a prime piece of real estate in my makeup kit.

I'm an eyeliner kind of girl, so my standard are pretty high with this product. There are endless options out there but I can honestly say this liner (the black in particular) has kicks serious ass. Its so creamy so it glides on gently and has solid staying power once its settled in for a minute. The black is SO rich and I love that because it lends to a more dramatic effect around the lashes. The angled tip at the other end of the brush is legit. I have drawn on endless cat eyes with the assistance of that tip so its truly on bonus to the pencil. I also find that its not drying or irritating as some liners are.  It also comes in a beautiful shimmered (lightly) Bronze as well which makes a bronzed smokey eye, fast and easy to create.

At this point, it's no secret that this Secret Brightening powder by Laura Mercier is AMAZING. Perhaps what might surprise you that I don't just use it under the eyes but also in the t-zone area as well.  I'm such a fan of letting skin breathe to look like it's truest, most radiant self.  This powder allows me to softly keep some shine away (that could read as oily on cameras) and still allow a fresh and luminous finish to the skin. It has some light reflecting properties in it that help to blur imperfections and brighten but doesn't look drying or chalky (be light with your application and especially on med/tan skin tones).  I love using a small pony tail brush (like this favorite of mine from Smashbox) when applying in circular motions to blend it seamlessly into the skin.

The hype is REAL with this sponge. There are imitations out there now, some that I have tried, all that do NOT come close to this OG beauty sponge. The control it allows in your hands when applying makeup is fantastic. It's important to damp the sponge before you use it for the best results. The flawless finish it gives to skin is unparalleled in my opinion. I use it to apply moisturizer, primers, highlighters, cream blushes and bronzers in addition to foundations and concealers. I also use a clean damp one to gently pat in makeup after powder (if any used) or just as a finisher to make sure makeup is settled seamlessly into the skin and not sitting on top of it.
